Safe Ship Receiving

Welcome

Use the steps below to quickly run a drop-off from start to finish.

System status: Online
Version 1.9.0
iPostal batch flag (2026-04-24) — new checkbox on the pack check-in screen, “iPostal in this batch.” When checked, an amber “📬 iPostal in batch” badge appears in the main screen header so everyone knows. Identifier only — no other effects on scanning or saving.
iPad side menu auto-hide (2026-04-24) — the side menu now auto-hides on all touch devices, including iPad Pro in landscape. Tap a nav item, tap outside, or press Escape to close.
USPS tracking coverage expanded — now accepts Certified Mail (70xx), GS1-128 destination barcodes (420 + ZIP prefix), S10 international numbers with or without US suffix, and all-digit numbers up to 37 characters.
FedEx & FedEx Ground tracking coverage expanded — now accepts all formats from 12 to 34 digits including 96xx, 61xx, 74xx, 92xx full barcodes, returns, door tags, and 14-digit future format.
Fixed silent USPS validation bug — a duplicate carrier pattern entry was causing half the USPS rules to be ignored.
Tracking number extraction — full barcodes are automatically trimmed to the real customer tracking number. FedEx 34-digit barcodes extract to the 12-digit tracking number. USPS 420+ZIP barcodes strip the routing prefix.
Fuzzy duplicate detection — if a scanned number is 1–2 characters off from an already-scanned package, a warning prompt appears so the employee can confirm or re-scan before accepting.
Camera barcode scanning — if no Bluetooth scanner is detected within 10 seconds of starting a session, a camera scan button automatically appears. Supports Chrome and Edge on Android, Windows, and Mac. iOS shows a grayed-out button explaining it is not supported.
Scan correction — each scanned package now has an Edit button. Tap it to fix a mis-scanned tracking number inline. The corrected code is revalidated, checked for duplicates, and run through fuzzy detection before saving.
Carrier breakdown chart — the dashboard now shows a bar chart of drop-offs and packages scanned per carrier for the selected date range.
Sound effects — distinct audio feedback for successful scans, duplicate blocks, validation errors, fuzzy warnings, and successful saves. Mute toggle in the top bar saves your preference.
